These are the terms and conditions of the agreement which apply to all purchases of products made at 18 Carati.com™ website.

Please read this page carefully before placing orders.
These terms may change from time to time and therefore you should check them before making a new purchase.
In order to proceed with the checkout and payment for any items you wish to purchase you will be asked to check a box
confirming that you’ve read and agreed to the following conditions.

RETURN POLICY & 30 DAYS MONEY BACK

If for any reason whatsoever you’re not entirely satisfied with the product you’ve purchased from 18 Carati.com™ you may ask for a full refund within 30 days from receipt of your purchase.
The return of certified diamonds can be made within 10 (ten) days from receipt of your purchase.

18 Carati.com™ will fully refund the whole amount of transaction less shipping charges to the original credit card used for the purchase. Returned items must be in perfect conditions, not worn , without scratches, accompanied with the original packaging and security label still joined to the jewel.
Please note that every item except faulty ones that you wish to return travels at your expenses and risk, so we strongly recommend you to send them through recorded and insured priority mail or using a special carrier such as FEDEX, UPS et similia.

To request a full refund you must email 18carati.com at returns@18carati.com and inform us about your decision of returning an item within 30 days from receipt of goods. We will then authorize the return by email and instruct you on how to send us the goods you wish to return. A full refund for the items returned will then be issued by us on the same payment mean used for the original payment.


This will not affect you statutory rights as a customer.
Note¹ : Postage costs are not refundable unless the good(s) were faulty.
Note² : Items will not be refunded in case a wrong ring size has been ordered.
Please pay the most attention to order the right ring size when you purchase a ring also by using our PDF ring sizer

PRICES, VAT & INVOICING
Prices do not include VAT and are displayed in Euros, Pounds Sterling and US Dollars.
Prices expressed in any currencies other then Euro might slightly
change from day to day due to the fluctuation of currencies against the Euro.

18 Carati.com automatically updates currencies exchange rates every midnight ( GMT +1 ).
VAT at the
current Italian rate ( currently 20% ) will be added to the invoice for all purchases with final destination within the EU .
Our system will automatically determine whether a sale is liable for VAT after registration when
a new customer’s account is created and a destination for the order is set.

VAT is not charged on goods dispatched to countries outside of the EC.
However, such sales are often subject to local import duties, taxes and Customs clearance levied by the country of destination, which MUST be paid by the customer at the port of entry. Such charges are not included in the cost of the goods or in delivery fees.


18 Carati.com will issue an invoice for every purchase made.

SHIPPING

18 Carati.com can only ship to ( and therefore accept orders from ) a selected list of countries including all EU countries as well as many extra EU countries.
Customers whose country of residence is not included on the list of countries we can ship to won’t be able to complete their registration on 18 Carati.com™ website and, therefore, to make orders or payments.
Shipping and full “door to door” insurance costs are included in prices.

18 Carati.com does not ship to mail boxes or similar
All goods must be signed for by an adult aged 18 years or over on receipt.
Customers are responsible to carefully check the packages upon arrival and , in particular, to check if the package has visible signs of openings. In this case we advice to reject the parcel and to contact us immediately.

PRIVACY POLICY

We are committed to protecting you privacy. All customer’s information collected by us are securely retained in accordance to the Italian and European law and none of them will be ever disclosed or sold to third parties.

IMAGES & DESCRIPTIONS

To the best of our knowledge, the product descriptions on this site are accurate and constantly updated. We include images of products on our site to help with your selection. However, slight variations, for example, in colour or shape should be expected. All measurements and weights are approximate.

ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERS

We will notify you of our acceptance of your order by email shortly after we receive it and at that point a binding agreement between us will be in place based on these terms and conditions.

Delivery charges and estimated timescales are specified in the ordering and delivery section. Although we make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, some delays on deliveries are occasionally inevitable.

The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order. While we try and ensure that all our prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or canceling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund providing we have not attempted to make a delivery to you.
